Jaden has been dying to play the guitar since he could talk! I felt that he needed to learn to play the piano first, so we put him in piano lessons last year. However, last fall we found it necessary to pull all our kids out of piano lesson. I just recently decided that Jaden really needs that musical outlet and so I gave in and decided to let him take guitar lessons without learning the piano first. As you can see, he is thrilled! Hopefully this decision won't haunt
us one day with Jaden coming to us with a mohawk, and body piercings asking for an electric guitar and amps!

That's Awesome Jaden! Wish I played better, maybe next time we're together you can show my some cool stuff. I have a guitar that just sits in my closet. I need more time to play it. Will you teach me everything you learn?
BJ's always wanted to play the guitar also. He has one, but hasn't figured out how to play it with his bum first finger on his left hand. He's going to have to figure out a way to adjust for it. Maybe Jaden, Kevin and BJ will be able to put on a show for the rest of us!!!

I have no such desires to become a guitarist... figure I'm too old now! However, I'm WAY excited for the first concert!! Way to go, Jaden!
